Black Bitcoin Billionaire presents The Blackout Conference, a three-day extravaganza over Labor Day weekend. Not your regular conference; this one is for the culture. We will have an action-packed week even before Labor Day weekend officially kicks off. Kraken, one of the leading United States–based cryptocurrency exchanges, will be sponsoring our demo day and holding auditions on Thursday for entrepreneurs to gain a chance to win big.
Companies that will present in front of panelists will have had to already entered via the link below. Auditions will be held at Embassy Suites Uptown in room Salon C from 12-230pm on Thursday, September 1st. There will only be three companies chosen from Thursday's auditions to compete in Saturday's live Demo Day Pitch Competition.
The Blackout Conference will be in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Embassy Suites in Uptown on September 2nd-4th, fostering some of the most innovative services and products from the Black community and supporting these businesses with Bitcoin. In true BBB fashion Lamar Wilson, co-founder of Black Bitcoin Billionaire, and Isaiah Jackson, author of Bitcoin in Black America, will be voting live on their favorite companies' pitches. The Demo Day winner will be awarded an investment of $20,000, paid in bitcoin.
The Blackout Conference will be an avenue to network and connect with the biggest names in the blockchain and Bitcoin industry. Black Bitcoin Billionaires explicitly show the power of the internet because all the members are virtual, and most have never met each other in person outside of conferences. Yet, it feels like family whenever you speak to someone in Black Bitcoin Billionaires, and that is what it is all about love, unity, and laughter. Applications are now open for The Blackout Conference Demo Day, and the deadline to apply is August 29th. If you are a Venture Capital Company or Angel Investor interested in participating in the demo days, please DM @bigmarh on Twitter or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
