Ethiopia's Bitcoin Hope
Today I sat down with Kal Kassa, Head of Business Development in Africa for Heseki App, a new bitcoin company building infrastructure for a bitcoin standard.
Kal has launched many grassroots works in education and bitcoin adoption in his home country of Ethiopia. So we discuss those prospects and the opportunities that exist in Africa, specifically mining. We learned that 90% of Ethiopia's electricity is currently powered by hydroelectric plants. The opportunity is clearly there. We get into the likelihood of legislation being passed on how to incentivize regulators. And much more. Kal is a true crusader for his country, and I'm excited for the future prospects of Ethiopia.
